          BREWCHUB REVIEWS

The 3 Habaneros "Though it may be a style very limited in number, I've had my share of Chili beers. Most of the time it seems to be an attempt to give substance to an otherwise unremarkable beer, but putting leather seats in a Yugo doesn't leave you with a Bentley. That's why when you pour a bottle of "The Three Habaneros" you know that you're in for a new kind of ride. It is a golden brown in color and the aroma is complex, giving off only a hint of the fire within. At first sip you're greeted by a robust malt, and then graciously introduced to their South of the Border counterpart. If you allow it to sit on your tongue for a moment you can actually dance between the malt and the habanero. I've experienced three incarnations of BrewChub's chili beer, and they have all been buenissimo."

Tara's Framboise Stout "This beer is close to black in color with a healthy tan head. The berries come out in the nose, but the cocoa, coffee, and roasted notes are much stronger - which is great! In the taste, the raspberry is subtle and doesn't overpower this nice stout. Medium body, very well-balanced. Finishes nice and clean. And even after all that, my name and face are right there on the bottle, so it's my favorite beer ever made!"

Tom's Wicked Ale "Nice hoppy flavor, very fresh with a rich texture and a clean aftertaste."
Tom Hoyt

Peter Wilson's Duff Beer "Bruce makes beers that find that perfect spot between complexity and fussiness. He gets a full flavored richness without detouring into boutiquey excess or undrinkability. It's just right. If you're like me, and you try various fine, famous brews and think, "This is great, but it's be even better if..." Bruce can finish that sentence for you with one of his own beers."
